Davido Celebrates Nigerian Women in New Music Video “Wonder Woman”

2018 has been a very productive year for pop star Davido and he has captivated the hearts of many again as he wraps up the year with a chill pop audio/visual titled “Wonder Woman”.

The song appreciates the strength and pride of African woman. He hints at the nurturing nature of women as well as their bouncebackability and support.

Drawing inspiration from DC Comic’s Wonder Woman and Maroon 5’s Girls Like You, the music visual produced by Dammy Twitch features Davido’s girlfriend, Chioma, and influential women such as Betty Irabor of Genevieve Magazine, Tara Fela-Durotoye of House of Tara, Uche Pedro of Bella Naija, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe of Zapphire Events, Hauwa Ojeifo of SheWritesWoman/Safe Place Ng, Chioma Ude of Afriff, Music artist – Omawumi, Choreographer – Kaffy  and many more.

The cameos by famous faces are not the only intriguing thing about the video, the singer showed that things are amicable and well in his personal life as we see his daughter, Imade and baby mother Sophia Momodu in the visual as well. Davido even took a mickey out of himself by referencing the goofy and superstitious Nigerian phrase by naysayers stating the man is smitten by a woman (in this case, his girlfriend – Chef Chioma) because she put love potion in his food.

This is an amazing video and another success the pop star can add to his long list of achievements. The ‘Wonder Woman’ video drops ahead his forthcoming concert in Nigeria which sets to close the year in remarkable style for the artist.
